As a service provider of FR/AR clothing, you understand that proper selection of PPE is very important. Though thermal hazards may be different for different industries, the basics for selection, use, care and maintenance of FR clothing share many similarities. This webinar will give insight into what end-users should be considering when specifying FR/AR clothing. Per OSHA, “Flame-Resistant” (FR)  clothing is considered PPE and training on PPE is required under 29 CFR 1910.132. Listen in and gather information at the end-user level that will aid you in meeting the training requirements of 1910.132.
You will:
  • Get information regarding selecting the proper FR/AR clothing
  • Learn how to properly wear, care for and maintain FR/AR clothing
  • Hear about the regulations, standards and general best practices for implementing a FR/AR clothing program
Speaker: Derek Sang, Technical Training Manager, QSSP, IASHEP, Bulwark Protective Apparel. Derek has been involved with the Flame-Resistant Clothing industry in a variety of roles from the service, manufacturing and garment sides of the business for over 20 years. In his current position as a Technical Training Manager, Derek has developed over 40 hours of training curriculum for Bulwark University.
