About the Textile Rental Industry and TRSA
What is the textile rental industry?
Textile rental is a $8.9 billion industry providing services to four major markets: healthcare, linen supply, industrial laundry, and dust control.
Every day, the industry's fleet of more than 17,000 trucks rolls out, carrying professionally-cleaned linens, uniforms, mats, and more to manufacturers, restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes, service companies, and offices. Textile rental customers point to seven important benefits the industry provides: convenience, quality, appearance, cleanliness, safety, savings and improved image.
What is TRSA?
The Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA) is a non-profit trade association. TRSA's mission is to advance the professionalism of its members and promotes their success through government advocacy, education, marketing, and business enhancing services.
TRSA members are for-profit companies engaged in textile maintenance and rental services to commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts. Associate members are for-profit companies that sell services, equipment, or supplies to members.
TRSA is the industry's largest trade association, with members' sales revenues accounting for 75% of the uniform rental market and 90% of the linen-supply market. Serving both textile rental members and their suppliers, TRSA offers membership benefits that help reduce expenses and increase revenue. TRSA is the authority and resource for information on the textile rental industry.
