TRSA Hits the Hill in Support of Huizenga Bill

TRSA led a coalition of industry associations and business organizations during a Feb. 16 strategy session with Rep. Bill Huizenga (R-MI) to discuss the congressman’s Federal Prison Industries Competition in Contracting Act (H.R. 3634). Following a discussion in the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, DC, the association took part in a news conference where Linens of the Week CEO Alan Bubes addressed journalists on the industry’s stance regarding prison laundries infringing on business that could go to private-sector textile services companies.
