AmeriPride Acquires Valley Industrial

AmeriPride Services Inc., Minnetonka, MN, recently announced the strategic acquisition of Valley Industrial, Decatur, AL. AmeriPride has been serving the Tuscumbia area in northwest Alabama for more than 50 years, according to a press release, and expects to build strong business relationships with its new customers.

“Our Tuscumbia branch has the capacity and resources to take on the additional volume, and I’m confident the operational and service leadership we have in place will facilitate a smooth transition,” said Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations John Sutherland.

Under the leadership of General Manager Benjy Crenshaw, AmeriPride began servicing the new customers out of its Tuscumbia branch in mid-September, incorporating the customers into existing service routes.
