AmeriPride Services Inc., Minnetonka, MN, recently announced the launch of its new Web store and enhancements to its custom eStores program, according to a news release.

The Web store platform provides customers who purchase products and services online with improved functionality for search, filters and unique customization, while its custom eStores program builds customized Web stores for qualified customers to help them manage their uniform program and spending, and allows employees to order specific, approved products, the release said.

“Our goal is to enhance customer service through self service and allow people to do business how and when they want to do business,” said Andrew Steiner, vice president of marketing and customer operations. “These new tools enable our customers to simplify their uniform program purchases while giving them control over their branding and spend.”

The new features and benefits of the Web store include:

  • Side-by-side product comparison with key features and images
  • Real-time uniform customization and the ability to visualize options through the website
  • Saved order history, giving customers the ability to reorder products with ease
  • Social media and e-mail sharing
  • Easy management of accounts, logos and passwords
  • Allowance management for customers to allocate money to employees for purchases

“Technology is changing the way our customers do business and we are excited about how our recent innovations are enhancing our customer service leadership,” Steiner said. “For this reason, digital innovation has become an essential component of our strategic plan, and we are increasing our investment in this area. I’m very excited about the strategic direction we are taking and the great progress we are making.”

AmeriPride will be rolling out additional digital tools this year, including a customer portal that will enable customers to view and pay bills online, access program details and better communicate with their service team, the release said.
