Congressman Tours M&B Hangers

U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-AL) recently visited M&B Hangers’ headquarters facility in Leeds, AL, according to company officials.

Rep. Palmer toured the hanger manufacturing plant and spoke with employees on the issue of why it’s important to keep manufacturing in Alabama and the United States. 

Rep. Palmer also toured the company’s new Robotics Manufacturing section. He discussed with staff how humans and robots can work side by side in a manufacturing environment.  Rep. Palmer reviewed trade issues as well with M&B officials, including the over-capacity of steel in China, the ENFORCE Act, which seeks redress for unfair trade practices by several countries, and various trade policies related to China.
