Ecolab Inks Exclusive Deal with Omni Solutions
Ecolab Textile Care announced on Sept. 21 the signing of an exclusive global agreement with OMNI Solutions for its Smart Ultraviolet Light Advanced Oxidation System technology for commercial laundries, according to a joint news release.
The partnership between Ecolab and OMNI Solutions offers commercial laundry operators a unique, patent-pending solution for treating reuse water that provides substantial water and energy savings, enhanced textile quality and improved wash aisle efficiencies, the release said. The Smart Ultraviolet Light Advanced Oxidation System works with Ecolab’s AdvaCare™ disinfectant to deliver the highest standard of clean. Together, Ecolab, a global leader in commercial laundry technologies, and OMNI, an innovative and environmentally sustainable company based in Baraboo, WI, have created a solid platform to drive success for commercial laundries.

This process helps significantly reduce a tunnel washer’s total fresh water and energy consumption, the release said. The initial phases of product testing also have shown significant odor reduction and improved whiteness to linens.
