Gurtler Family Board Member Passes On

Lisa Gurtler Henry, 51, sister of Gurtler Industries Inc. President Greg Gurtler and a member of the laundry chemical company’s board of directors, passed away on May 8 at her home in Indianapolis.

Born in Harvey, IL, and a native of the Chicago area, Gurtler received a master’s degree in accounting from Governor’s State University, University Park, IL. For 29 years, she’d worked for Gurtler Industries, South Holland, IL; and had served on its board.

Survivors include: husband Raymond Henry; children Tiffany and Billy; father William Gurtler and brother Greg Gurtler.

Funeral services were held on May 13 with Pastor Bob Bouwer, senior pastor at Faith Church, Dyer, IN, officiating. Donations may be made in Lisa Gurtler Henry’s name to: Fortune School, 5626 Lawton Loop East Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46256; or Faith Church, 100 W. 81st Ave., Dyer, IN 46311.
