Matthew 25: Ministries recently announced a combined relief effort, including Cintas Corp. and several other Cincinnati-area based companies, to provide assistance to people in the Southeastern U.S affected by Hurricane Matthew.

The hurricane struck Haiti and eastern Cuba on Oct. 4. On Oct. 7-8 it moved up the coast of the United States, causing severe flooding and damage in Florida, Georgia and South and North Carolina.

Cintas is contributing first-aid and safety kits, along with disposable diapers, toilet paper, laundry detergent pods, tarps and blankets. Proctor & Gamble and other Cincinnati-area businesses also are contributing to the relief effort.

“We are honored that to be able to represent the incredibly generous community of Cincinnati and our disaster response partners in reaching out to those affected by Hurricane Matthew,” said Tim Mettey, CEO of Matthew 25: Ministries.
