Medi-Clean Celebrates Five Years

Medi-Clean Healthcare Laundry, Aston, PA, founded Aug. 31, 2009, by President Mark Sussman and Vice President/COO Joe Mastin, recently celebrated the company’s five-year anniversary. Sussman and Mastin are former colleagues at another company with more than 30 years of laundry experience each.

Medi-Clean was founded when the duo purchased Fishtown Laundry, Philadelphia, a small outpatient medical route with 50 accounts and $100,000 in annual sales. Sussman and Mastin took this business, grew it rapidly and moved to a bigger location that could handle its growth.

Sussman and Mastin were joined by their employees (most of whom were with the company for 4-5 years) and vendors to celebrate five years of success at a special dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy, King of Prussia, PA, where dinner was served family style.

Sussman and Mastin spoke about the founding of the company and the dedication from the handful of employees that moved from Philadelphia to suburban Aston, PA. Employees and vendors reminisced about the starting of Medi-Clean and how much the business has grown and become successful. At the end of the evening, Sussman and Mastin handed out gift bags filled with items from Medi-Clean to all employees and vendors.

Sussman and Mastin both said that they look forward to providing a solid foundation as Medi-Clean moves forward to celebrate 10 years.
