Corporate Trainer Highlights Roundtable Agenda

Sharing lessons learned from managing and growing IT operations and consulting with other industries, Eddie Lemoine, the internationally renowned corporate trainer, will speak on employee engagement Aug. 30 at TRSA’s Canadian Plant Tours and Roundtable in Toronto.

Through inspiring stories, an infectious sense of humor and genuine care for people, Lemoine’s presentations are hailed for easily connecting with and motivating audiences all over the world. He’s heralded for an uncanny ability to close the gap between business results and personal development, inspiring greatness in corporations by inspiring greatness in individuals. His audiences represent 83 countries and his speeches have been translated into several languages.

Lemoine’s book, Bring About What You Think About, helps readers understand that changing the way they think can absolutely change their lives. It teaches the importance of matching thoughts and emotions, and how to live with more gratitude and happiness. He works with employees from the corner office to the plant floor, facilitating their skill development in leadership, stress management, safety and psychology.

His presentation will kick off the roundtable portion of the TRSA event, a facilitated discussion among linen, uniform and facility services executives regarding current and evolving markets in Canada. The event begins Tuesday, Aug. 29, with a dinner. The next morning, participants will visit a local Canadian Linen and Uniform Service facility, before the afternoon roundtable and dinner that evening. A tour of the nearby Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service plant concludes the event Thursday morning, Aug. 31.

TRSA members and nonmember operators from Canada, United States and worldwide are encouraged to participate.

Lemoine was VP and GM of IMP Solutions, the IT division of IMP Group, a Nova Scotia-based company also in aerospace, aviation, hotel management and real estate development. He also was a district sales manager for GE Equipment Services’ IT Solutions and sales VP for Compugen, a provider of IT infrastructure products and services for medium and large corporations and government departments.
