A standing-room-only crowd was on hand at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Tuesday morning at the Clean Show to get the latest tips on improving their linen, uniform and facility services companies’ presence online in order to increase visibility and gain new clients.

The educational session was hosted by Jeff Wile, president, Infinite Laundry, Coral Springs, FL, an industry veteran and guru of marketing linen, uniform and facility services businesses through social and digital channels. Wile shared with those in attendance his 11 secrets to increase your company’s visibility online. These include:

  • Pay special attention to pay-per-click keyword match types in order to get the largest possible audience
  • Get a search query report from major search platforms such as Google and Bing to see how often your business is searched for online
  • Include negative keywords to optimize your company’s presence in targeted searches
  • Make sure your online campaigns don’t run outside of your service area
  • Optimize your website with actions to generate sales leads (simple forms, click-to-call links, etc.)
  • Make sure your presence is professional and up to date in online directories such as Yelp, Yellow Pages, etc.
  • Remarket your business through social media, search and display ads to bring users to your website
  • Provide interesting content on your company to keep prospects coming to your website
  • Use advanced audience targeting on social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook to boost the number of views your posts and ads get
  • Be creative and have fun with the content you put out about your laundry

After wrapping up his secrets to successful laundry marketing online, Wile shared some digital tools with the audience to enhance their productivity, before closing with a question-and-answer session with attendees.

TRSA would like to thank its event partner Ecolab Inc., St. Paul, MN, for sponsoring this educational session.
