Textile Services AdStudy Nets 250 Leads

Signet Research Inc. recently conducted an online survey of July’s Textile Services magazine that shows that operator respondents asked for more information from that issue’s advertisers a total of 250 times. These leads were included in a report e-mailed last week to Textile Services. Individual advertisers will receive details of these requests shortly from TRSA’s ad representatives.

“These surveys are very important because they give operators a chance to critique ads and the magazine itself,” said Senior Editor Jack Morgan. “This feedback is valuable for advertisers as well as our staff as we seek to focus on critical issues facing the textile services industry. We thank everyone who took a few minutes to complete the survey.”

In the coming days, Signet Research, Englewood, NJ, will provide TRSA with a more detailed report on the Textile Services’ readership, plus verbatim comments from respondents on specific ads that appeared in July’s issue. Watch for coverage of these findings in upcoming issues of Textile Services Weekly and Textile Services magazine.

As for the top number of sales per advertiser, ADI American Dawn Inc., with its two full-age ads, took the top position with 21 leads. All other advertisers had a single page or a fractional (i.e., less than a full-page) ad. The Los Angeles-based textile provider was followed closely by Ecolab Textile Care Div., St. Paul, MN, with 19 leads. Mountville Mills Inc., LaGrange, GA, landed the third spot with 14 leads. They were followed closely by JENSEN USA, Panama City, FL, with 13 leads. G.A. Braun Inc., Syracuse, NY, received 11 requests for additional information. On average, the survey generated nine leads per ad based on the AdStudy® survey of 28 display ads in July’s Textile Services.

If you’re a laundry operator or manager and you missed your chance to participate in the July survey, no problem: Our next study, Signet’s AdBrand™ survey, is tentatively slated for our February 2016 issue. E-mail Morgan at jmorgan@trsa.org, and he’ll make sure that your name is included in the next list of online survey participants.

A good reason to participate in the survey is our incentive bonus: For each survey, Signet Research selects one respondent in a random drawing to receive a $500 gift card from Amazon.com. Our July survey winner is Kyle Roberts of Health Systems Cooperative Laundries (HSCL), St. Paul, MN. Congratulations Kyle!
