TRSA Webinar Preps for Hill Meetings
With the annual Leadership & Legislative Conference slated for March 20-21 in Washington, DC, TRSA hosted an hour-long webinar that gave conference attendees an overview of the key issues to discuss when meeting with legislators and their staff members. The webinar was hosted by Kevin Schwalb, TRSA’s vice president of government relations.
Schwalb kicked off the webinar with an overview of the logistics for the meetings on Capitol Hill, including the time frame for the meetings, which includes a breakfast on the morning of March 21 with Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-AL). Schwalb then followed with an overview of the key issues that TRSA would like its members to discuss during their meetings, including:
“I look forward to seeing you all,” Schwalb said. “I am very excited. We have over 70 people attending the Hill visits, the largest group we’ve had.”
