Green Guard First Aid & Safety, a division of UniFirst Corp., Wilmington, MA, recently held a grand opening for a new 55,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in St. Louis. The new facility doubles the size of the previous operation and has added 11 new jobs, according to a news release. The headquarters was designed to help accommodate a growing demand for first aid and safety products, as well as customized services nationwide, the release said.

Uniform Rental Bill Moves Closer to Final Vote

TRSA recently made progress in passing legislation that would benefit uniform rental providers in the state of Indiana. The bill, SB 99, which would allow for the rental of uniforms to be deducted from a worker’s paycheck, recently was cleared by the Indiana State Assembly Committee on Employment Labor and Pensions. Since SB 99 has already been passed by the Indiana State Senate, all that is needed is an Assembly vote and Gov. Eric Holcomb’s (R) signature to become law.

Marquette Elevated to President at Lapauw USA
