ImageFIRST, King of Prussia, PA, recently announced the acquisition of its largest franchisee, ImageFIRST Tampa. ImageFIRST Tampa provides medical laundry services across central Florida, including in Tampa and Orlando. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, according to a news release.

Clean 2019: Exhibit Space Sells Out Again


Exhibit space officially sold out with roughly a month until the kickoff of Clean 2019 in New Orleans,  according to a news release. The 2019 edition of the trade show follows in the footsteps of Clean 2017, which also sold out well before the show opening and was honored as one of Trade Show Executive’s 50 Fastest-Growing shows of 2017. Total exhibit space for 2019 totals 223,800 net square feet with 434 exhibiting companies.

Three TRSA Members Earn Spots on ‘Healthcare Top 150’ List


TRSA associate member companies, 3M (i.e., the company’s Scotchlite Reflective Material division), Compass One Healthcare (including Crothall Healthcare) and Medline Industries Inc. recently appeared on a list of the “150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare.” The list was assembled by Becker’s Hospital Review, an online healthcare trade publication.

POS Announces Transition to Third-Generation CEO


Prudential Overall Supply (POS), Irvine, CA, recently announced a leadership transition. Longtime President Tom Watts will retire at the end of this year. The company’s Chairman of the Board and CEO Dan Clark will continue as chairman of the board, while John Clark, the son of Dan Clark and a third-generation family member will assume the CEO position. Chris Welch will be promoted to the position of president from his current role as VP of operations, according to a news release.

Global Outreach: Ricci Outlines U.S. Market at Swedish Confab


TRSA President & CEO Joseph Ricci recently gave an update on the state of the United States linen, uniform and facility services industry to more than 130 international executives at the Annual Meeting for Sveriges Tvätteriförbund, the Swedish Laundry Association. The Annual Meeting was held on May 16 at the Scandic Rubinen Hotel in Gothenburg, Sweden.

ImageFIRST Acquires Majority Stake in Faultless Linen


ImageFIRST, King of Prussia, PA, announced today the acquisition of a majority stake in Faultless Healthcare Linen with the support of Calera Capital, a middle market private-equity firm. Susan Witcher, Mark Spence, and other members of the Spence family will retain an equity interest in the combined business. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, according to a news release.
