Richard M. “Dick” Fink, 91, a leading light in the industrial uniform business for 41 years with G&K Services and an active leader in the Uniform & Textile Services Association (UTSA), passed away on July 10 in Minneapolis from an illness, according to news reports.

Calderon Textiles Appoints New CEO


Calderon Textiles LLC, Indianapolis, recently announced that Ammar Khan has been appointed CEO of the company. Ammar succeeds Azher Khan, who will remain involved with Calderon as chairman of the board, according to a news release.

Braun Announces Changes to Engineering Department


J.B. Werner, CEO and chairman of the board at G.A. Braun, Syracuse, NY, recently announced that Director of Engineering and Product Development Steve Wilbur will retire from Braun after 13 years of service. Wilbur’s successor, Ryan Blair, will succeed Wilbur in this position, according to a news release.

‘Make the World Green Again!’: Webinar Highlights Sustainability


TRSA recently participated in a 90-minute webinar with international partners DTV (Germany), ETSA (Europe), FBT (Belgium) and TSA-UK to discuss global sustainability efforts in the linen, uniform and facility services industry. The webinar, titled “Make the World Green Again!” took place on June 30 and featured a speaker from each participating association as well as a question-and-answer session for participants.
