Huebsch Services broke ground on Sept. 2 on an expansion of the company’s 55,000-square-foot production facility in Eau Claire, WI. Huebsch is partnering with Hoeft Builders on the project, and the expansion will add approximately 15,000 square feet to the current production facility, according to a news release.

To say, as many have, that Hurricane Ida wasn’t as devastating as previous storms, especially Hurricane Katrina, which struck the Louisiana coast on the same day 16 years earlier, provides little comfort to laundry operators and at least one supplier partner, Pellerin Milnor Corp., that were impacted by this latest hurricane to strike the Gulf Coast region of Louisiana and Mississippi.
Pellerin Milnor reported that its facilities in Kenner, LA, were in “good shape” in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, which made landfall in Southeast Louisiana on Aug. 29. The company’s factory sustained minor damage, including a few fences knocked down, according to a news release.
