A recent survey of Hygienically Clean Healthcare-certified and HLAC-accredited laundry operators found that only 20% of acute and nonacute healthcare requests for proposal (RFPs) require certification/accreditation with any preference for either program. The survey will be used as a baseline as TRSA rolls out an outreach program during the next 18 months to decisionmakers and influencers touting the value of Hygienically Clean certification and reusable textiles.

With so much laundry automation technology emanating from Europe and more than two years since the last Clean Show, Texcare International show stakeholders see greater value for North Americans to travel to this exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, this Nov. 6-9. (“C.M.”) for an enterprise value of $12 million, on a cash-free, debt-free basis. The transaction includes the real estate for C.M.’s processing and storage facilities located in North Montréal.

Xos Inc. recently announced the delivery of Xos SV step vans and comprehensive charging solutions to Morgan Services, a family-owned linen, uniform and facility services company. This delivery introduces Morgan Services to their first set of Class 6 battery-electric step vans from Xos, with additional orders placed for their facilities in Los Angeles and San Diego.

Robert W. Baird & Co. recently released the results of its Second-Quarter 2024 Textile Rental Services Survey. Revenue growth expectations trended higher than last quarter on the uniform rental side of the business, while this metric remained stable in the linen rental survey.
