The program recognizes employers and staff members who have implemented effective safety-and-health-management systems and maintain injury-and-illness rates below national Bureau of Labor Statistics averages for their industry.

Two students continuing their undergraduate studies and two incoming freshmen have received 2024 Merit-Based College Scholarships funded by the Textile Rental Education and Research Trust (TRERT). TRSA member company employees and their family members are eligible for this $2,500 scholarship.
