TRSA recently led a delegation of linen, uniform and facility services industry executives to the New York State Capitol in Albany for an impactful afternoon of meetings with key legislators and members of their staff during the New York State Legislative Conference.

Take Two: TRSA Running Mother’s Day Video Again


To generate additional business for tablecloth restaurants on Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8, TRSA is promoting a two-week social media and remarketing campaign that encourages families to take moms to these establishments, thus fulfilling TRSA’s mission to support these linen service customers. The video campaign was first aired last year and brought success in terms of metrics with the goal of increasing awareness of the industry and increasing dining at restaurants.

Labor, Supply-Chain Issues Persist in Latest TRSA Survey


TRSA’s Business Pulse Survey for the first quarter of 2022 indicated that across all market specialties, at least 80% of operators are looking to find new supplier partners (products and/or supplies, parts, etc.) to mitigate ongoing supply-chain shortages. This bodes well for the upcoming Clean Show, slated for July 30-Aug. 2 in Atlanta.

Romney Meets with Alsco Execs, TRSA Board Members


One group of attendees who participated in TRSA’s visits with lawmakers on Capitol Hill got an opportunity to meet with a high-profile lawmaker, Utah Sen. Mitt Romney (R), who also served as the Republican candidate for president in 2012.

Alsco Acquires Independent East Coast Operator


Alsco Uniforms, Salt Lake City, recently acquired the rental business of Professional Rental Service, Mt. Airy, NC, according to a news release from James Gutheim & Associates, Encino, CA, which served as the financial adviser in the sale. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
