NOVO Acquires Angelica Plant in Rockmart, GA


NOVO Health Services recently acquired a laundry processing facility in Rockmart, GA, from Angelica, effective Jan. 31. The acquisition adds a 12th laundry facility, and up to 60 million additional pounds of processing capacity, to NOVO’s expanding network of facilities serving 19 states in the Southeast, Northeast and Midwest.

Crothall Acquired by H.I.G. Capital


H.I.G. Capital, a global alternative investment firm with $42 billion of equity capital under management, announced on Jan. 4 that one of its affiliates acquired Crothall Laundry Services from Compass Group plc, the British multinational company known best as the largest contract foodservice company in the world. Crothall Laundry was a division of Compass’ Crothall Healthcare, Wayne, PA, a diversified hospital services provider.

Reino Linen Announces New Ownership


Reino Linen Service, Gibsonburg, OH, recently announced that it has finalized the private sale of the company from its previous owners Leonard and Judy Reino to Reino Linen Service’s current president, Daniel Darr.

Linen King Acquisition Adds Operation in Tennessee


Linen King, a provider of healthcare laundry services in the south and central United States, recently announced the acquisition of a laundry processing facility in Ooltewah, TN, from Angelica Corp. The acquisition adds the seventh laundry facility and 25 million pounds of processing capacity to Linen King’s network of plants across five states, according to a news release.

Lindström Acquires the Chinese Operations of Cintas


Lindström Group, Helsinki, a multinational provider of linen, uniform and facility services, recently announced that it has acquired all of Cintas’ operations and personnel in China. The new entity will be the market leader in workwear rental and cleanroom business in China’s fast-growing market. The acquisition also will increase Lindström’s geographical reach in the area and expand its service portfolio to new service lines, according to a news release.

Riegel Acquires Linen Business from Bed Bath & Beyond


Riegel Linen’s parent company, Lion Equity Partners, recently entered into a definitive agreement with Bed Bath & Beyond to acquire T-Y Group and Harbor Linen with an anticipated closing of Oct. 26. When combined with Riegel, this acquisition will form an industry-leading provider of textiles, amenities and more for hotels, cruise lines, restaurants, linen suppliers and healthcare facilities, according to a news release.
