On a recent tour of Textile Care in Utrecht, the Netherlands, Textile Services Weekly saw a massive, multilevel, high-tech hospitality laundry in the heart of Europe.
TRSA recently announced findings from its latest membership survey. The responses were decidedly positive – most respondents said that TRSA provides a strong return on investment.
TRSA and laundry operators in the healthcare textile space face an uphill battle convincing healthcare providers of the value of reusable personal protective equipment (PPE) vs. “single-use” disposable PPE, according to an article in May’s Textile Services on the issue. But action by state and federal policymakers could make a difference.
TRSA recently completed its AdBrand™ Survey of January’s Textile Services. The study offered advertisers insights from readers on each of their display ads, while the magazine staff received comments on the quality of the publication’s coverage of the linen, uniform and facility services industry.

As Textile Services, TRSA’s monthly magazine for laundry operators and suppliers, marks its 107th year of publication this September, our latest AdStudy® survey confirms that the publication continues to provide value to laundry operators and supplier partners with information on innovations and trends that can help them grow their businesses.
TRSA, along with the Wisconsin Association of Textile Services (WATS), recently conducted follow-up meetings with Wisconsin legislators to continue to build support for legislation that would allow the linen, uniform and facility services industry to be able to utilize the manufacturing and agriculture tax credit (MATC), thereby cutting the industry’s tax liability in half.
Next month’s Textile Services magazine will feature a topic near and dear to many in the linen, uniform and facility services industry: the need for effective strategies to retain employees. Highlights of the ideas suggested by industry consultant Katie Cosgrove follow.
