Industry Strategic Town Hall – Engaging Members on Industry Looking Forward 2021

The COVID19 pandemic has impacted the linen, uniform and facility services industry in new and unexpected ways. Last year’s, or last quarter’s, business assumptions are no longer valid. We need to think differently about the industry and TRSA’s role in building and promoting a stronger community through advocacy, education, certification, research, benchmarking and networking. TRSA distributed surveys to capture qualitative insight from stakeholders including laundry operators and supplier partners through a series of open-ended questions to collect diverse opinions and identify the:

  • Most significant issues facing the linen, uniform and facility services industry over the next 3–5 years and the potential long-term implications of COVID-19 on the industry
  • Implications of these issues and the potential challenges and opportunities
  • Shifts in industry’s best practices
  • Most significant barriers and opportunities for business growth

The resulting report will be shared and discussed during a facilitated, interactive ½-day virtual Industry Strategic Town Hall, June 23, 2020 to collect additional insight from subject matter experts, member contributions and results in consensus recommendations on strategy to the TRSA Strategic Planning Committee and Board of Directors. The research and strategic planning session are being conducted by Association Laboratory, an independent research organization in partnership with TRSA.

In addition a general session offering insight into the qualitative research and other industry-specific benchmarking information; the Town Hall will break into four market-specific sessions facilitated by representatives from the TRSA Market-Specific Recovery Task Forces and Committees.

The Industry Town Hall is open to TRSA operator and supplier partners (Associate) members only and participation is limited.
