About TRSA’s Executive Management Institute (EMI)

For more than 50 years, the TRSA Annual Executive Management Institute has educated thousands of linen, uniform and facility services professionals, including many of today’s most respected industry CEOs, senior executives and leaders. Recognized as the equivalent of a linen, uniform and facility services Executive MBA, this multiyear interactive management program develops leadership, communications, team-building, problem-solving and information-sharing skills, as well as a career-long professional network. Each year, participants engage in at least 30 hours of classroom and situational training covering:

Skill Builder for Achieving Your Operation’s Goals

The TRSA Executive Management Institute (EMI) teaches progressive employee and customer relations techniques and other emerging practices to textile services management so they can more effectively tackle to-do lists. EMI instructors explain how today’s workplace dynamics and social trends impact everyday business decisions in the textile services industry. Participants discuss their pressing work challenges with instructors and industry colleagues in classes and social events, delivering the “wisdom of the crowd” for immediate applicability to your workplace.

EMI has enhanced the careers of thousands of textile services professionals and earned high praise from participants for more than 50 years. The program develops the management and leadership skills of participants through team-building, interactive sessions emphasizing information-sharing and problem solving. The four-year EMI program offers 30 hours of interactive classroom training each year including:

Meals and Attire

Cancellation Policy

Written cancellations received by July 24, 2021 will receive a full refund minus a 25% processing fee. Cancellations received after July 24, 2021 will not be refunded and cannot be credited to another TRSA program or event. Refunds will not be granted for no-shows. Cancellations will be processed after the event.

Dress Code

Business casual attire for all class sessions. Many students choose to business professional attire for the final night’s graduation dinner and reception, although it is not required.
