The Strategic Planning Committee’s mission is to expand and protect the market for TRSA members (operators) by advocating for fair regulatory and legislative policy affecting the textile services industry and promoting the environmental benefits of reusable textiles.

Strategic Plan Management
This plan defines a course of development for TRSA while also outlining implementation priorities and objectives. To accomplish these outcomes, the TRSA Strategic Planning Committee:
- Conducts Global/Domestic Textile Services Market Trends or Environmental Scan including megatrends offered by the TRSA Board of Directors
- Conducts Textile Services Industry Needs Assessment Research and SWOT analysis to identify and evaluate key issues and trends influencing the textile services industry, members/non-members and TRSA
- Reviews and revises the primary elements of the Strategic Plan, including the Mission, Values, Strategic Position and Vision Statements, Strategic Themes and Goals/Objectives
- Identifies Implementation Goals/Objectives integrated into the TRSA Budget
