2023 Leadership Summit Date Set: A Conference with a Kick

David Kovar, an 8th degree Black Belt who has dedicated his life to martial arts, earning Black Belt ranks in 10 unique martial-art styles will be the keynote speaker at the June 14 Leadership Summit in Oakbrook, IL. Kovar’s keynote, Cultivating a Leadership Mindset, will touch on how his martial-arts training fueled his passion for helping organizations and businesses achieve profitability and growth.

The Leadership Summit offers a mix of concurrent peer-level session tracks plus general leadership-development sessions for all levels. There will be two peer-level session tracks developed specifically for each level: CEO/Executive, Next Generation and Emerging Leaders. The morning sessions will offer a deep-dive facilitated discussion about leadership for each category. The afternoon breakout sessions include a workshop session for CEOs titled Remaining Union Free and Positive Employee Relations. The Emerging Leaders group will discuss the future of fleets, while the subject of the Next Generation breakout session is How to Create Your Support Network in a Family Business.

In addition to the keynote, the groups will combine for a general-session panel discussion on the circular economy and recycling textiles. David Stevens, CEO, TSA-UK, will join Michael Langley, VP of protective fabrics, Milliken & Co., and John Clark, CEO, Prudential Overall Supply, as panelists. A second panel will close the afternoon with a CEO discussion gathering top industry leadership talent, including Brian Herington, CEO, PureStar; TRSA Chair Jim Kearns, EVP, Alsco; John Ross, CEO Mission Linen; Steve Sintros, CEO, UniFirst Corp.; and Todd Schneider, CEO, Cintas Corp.
