AdBrand Study Nets 156 Leads for Advertisers

TRSA’s recent AdBrand™ Study of February’s Textile Services magazine netted more than 150 leads for the 29 companies that advertised in that issue, according to a report in the study prepared by Signet Research Inc., Englewood, NJ.

That’s an average of just over five leads per company. The leads come in the form of e-mail requests from respondents for more information from companies. Nearly 110 respondents completed Signet Research’s online survey of ads in the February issue that was commissioned by TRSA.

“While the main benefit of these surveys is the feedback they provide from readers to advertisers, these operator requests for more information are an added bonus on the investment that our advertisers are making in Textile Services,” said Sr. Editor Jack Morgan.

The companies receiving the highest number of requests for additional information included:

  • Mat Processing Systems, Langley, British Columbia, Canada, a manufacturer of mat rolling machinery and related products, received 14 requests for more information.
  • Mountville Mills Inc., LaGrange, GA, a mat manufacturer, drew 12 leads from the study.
  • Milliken & Co., Spartanburg, SC, received 11 requests for additional information. 

The online AdBrand Survey invites Textile Services subscribers to click on a link and then review each ad, describing whether they are aware of this company and would they considering buying its products or services, if there was a need to do so. The combined percentage of these responses is known as the AdBrand score. The survey includes a box that respondents can click on to add personal comments about the ad and their perception of the company. The study also measures customer perceptions of companies. Specifically, it asks whether respondents associate the company with the following qualities:

  • Quality products and services
  • Service and support
  • Innovation
  • Reputation
  • Value

The survey was limited to laundry operators drawn from a list of executives that TRSA provided to Signet. As an incentive to prospective survey participants, each person who completed the survey was included in a random drawing of respondents conducted by Signet Research.
