Aramark Uniform Services, based in Burbank, CA, recently laundered more than 750 gently-used coats that were donated to the Clothes for Kids School Wardrobe program, according to media reports. The nonprofit organization is located in Snohomish County (WA), north of Seattle.

“This saves our resources and our volunteer time allowing us to focus on other needs as we prepare for back to school shopping,” said Nancy Laird Burris, program manager for Clothes for Kids.

Founded in 1984, Clothes for Kids enhances the learning environment by meeting the clothing needs of low-income children in Snohomish County, the report said. Clothes for Kids provides a school wardrobe at no cost for families.
