Board Chair Retires from Cintas

Cintas Corp., Mason, OH, recently announced that Robert J. Kohlhepp has informed the company’s board of directors that he will retire as chairman effective Sept. 30, according to a news release.

Kohlhepp has served as the chairman of Cintas’ board for the past seven years. He has been a member of the board since 1979 and served as vice chairman from 2003 to 2009. Kohlhepp has nearly 50 years experience with the company. He joined Cintas in 1967 as controller and subsequently held the positions of general manager, vice president and treasurer, executive vice president, president and CEO.

“I thank Bob for the countless contributions he has made during his time with the company,” said Cintas’ CEO Scott D. Farmer. “Under Bob’s leadership of our board of directors, Cintas has thrived through challenging economic times and has emerged positioned for even greater success in the future.”
