Machinery supplier G.A. Braun Inc., Syracuse, NY, recently announced that it’s moving forward with its expansion plans at a faster pace than originally anticipated when the project was unveiled last October.

“It is with great pleasure to announce that we (G.A. Braun Inc. and our subsidiary CNY Fabrication) have begun the expansion to our domestic production facility at Syracuse, NY, and expect to beat our earlier projected completion date,” said CEO/Board Chairman James B. Werner and President Joseph Gudenburr in a news release. “Seven years ago, we consolidated our domestic operations at our current location with the building of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

The additional 101,000 square feet of production space will be used to support our business and new-product development initiatives, our diversification pursuits domestically and internationally, and expansion of our core capabilities. We are very excited to have the opportunity to invest in our business, our people and the region.”

The release concluded on a note of optimism regarding the company’s long-term growth prospects. “It is our hope that this expansion will simply be one of many that will positively impact the laundry industry.”
