Broussard, Cintas Get Awards in OK City

Cintas employee-partner Peter Broussard recently accepted the Client of the Year Award from the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) during the state’s People with Disabilities Awareness Day, attended by 655 people at the capitol in Oklahoma City, according to media reports. In addition, DRS also recognized Cintas Corp. as Employer of the Year for successfully integrating workers with disabilities into its workforce.

Broussard, a floor mat machine operator for Cintas in Oklahama City, is deaf-blind. According to Jeremy Dettman, Cintas production supervisor, Broussard’s work ethic is a good fit for the company. “The drive to be self-sufficient is a huge motivator, and it shows. Anything you throw at him, he wants to learn and take more responsibility.” Broussard earned a Governor’s Employment Award last year.
