Calderon Textiles Appoints New CEO

Calderon Textiles LLC, Indianapolis, recently announced that Ammar Khan has been appointed CEO of the company. Ammar succeeds Azher Khan, who will remain involved with Calderon as chairman of the board, according to a news release.

Ammar Khan has worked for 11 years at Calderon in a variety of roles including strategy, leadership, supply chain, marketing and sales. His diverse background and experience working throughout the Calderon organization will help him lead the company into the future, the release noted.

Ammar Khan has degrees in international business and supply chain management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. In 2018, he completed an MBA course in executive accounting from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

With more than 38 years’ experience as the founder of Calderon, Azher Khan will continue to guide Calderon’s executive management team through financial overview and strategy development.
