Century Linen, Up To Date Join Healthcare Linen Alliance

The Healthcare Linen Alliance recently announced the addition of two new members, Century Linen & Uniform, Gloversville, NY; and Up To Date Laundry, Baltimore, according to a news release. The presence of these two companies will increase the reach and coverage area of the Alliance, which now serves more than 120,000 hospital beds and more than 1,800 customers daily.

Century Linen & Uniform was founded more than 100 years ago and services the Northeast region of the U.S. from its base about an hour northwest of Albany, NY. Up To Date is one of the largest healthcare laundries on the East Coast and has been serving its community since 1946. “The Healthcare Linen Alliance is one of the largest commercial healthcare linen service providers across the nation, comprised of leading local healthcare laundry service providers in their regions,” said Randy Bartsch, CEO of Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service Corp. and a founding member and chair of the Alliance. “Together, the group has the combined size, scale and coverage to help customers drive down overall costs, while providing attentive service. We are pleased to welcome Century Linen and Up To Date Laundry to the team.”
