Christeyns Ramps Up Production of Hand Sanitizer

A recent report by Reuters detailed the steps Christeyns is taking to increase its production of antibacterial gel, or hand sanitizer, at its plant in Vertou, France, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Christeyns has increased capacity to allow it to produce 3,000 tons of antibacterial gel per year instead of its normal throughput of 1,000 tons per year.

“The crisis is global,” said Christeyns France CEO Peter De Grove in the article. “The demand is global as well. The demand has been exploding incredibly.”
