Cintas Acquires Iowa Laundry

Cintas Corp., Mason, OH, recently acquired the customer accounts of Burke Laundry, a mixed plant in Davenport, IA, according to a news release. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, said Jim Gutheim, who served as the financial adviser on the sale of Burke’s rental accounts.

In addition, the acquisition doesn’t include other Burke holdings, including more than a dozen retail dry-cleaning and laundromat operations in communities in Iowa and Illinois. Burke Laundry operated out of a single plant in Davenport.
