Cintas Corp., Mason, OH, recently announced that it has earned a 16th place spot on a list of 2016 Top-100 Military Friendly® employers. The list was developed by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs Magazine and Military Spouse Magazine.

Cintas was the only TRSA member included on the list, and this is the 11th consecutive year that Cintas has made the list. The rankings are based on the strength of a company’s military-recruiting efforts, the percentage of new hires with current or previous military service, the development and retention program and company policies on National Guard and Reserve service, according to a news release.

“We are honored to be recognized and ranked in the top 25,” said Matt Disher, Cintas military recruiting program manager and a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. “Cintas has had a dedicated military recruiting program for more than 25 years and from the beginning, we have had the full support of the executive leadership team. Our founder, Dick Farmer, served in the marines and many of our operations managers and directors have served as well. Leadership engagement is instrumental in directing resources and having a successful military recruitment program.”

Cintas is committed to training veterans for the evolving job market by working to recruit based on characteristics that individuals learned while serving in the military. The culture of service, trust, loyalty and hard work is one that lives in Cintas’ culture as well, the release said.

The Military Friendly Employers list is now in its 12th year and it’s recognized as the premier resource for transitioning service members and spouses seeking civilian employment, the release said. Cintas will be featured along with other 2016 Military Friendly employers in December’s G.I. Jobs Magazine and online at MilitaryFriendly.com. Click here for details.
