Cintas Corp. and city officials in Yonkers, NY, recently gathered for a groundbreaking at a new service facility that will bring 200 jobs to the area, according to news reports.

Mayor Mike Spano and other local and state dignitaries turned out for the Oct. 13 event. Cintas is building a 62,000-square foot service facility at the South Westchester Executive Park, off of the Saw Mill Parkway in the northern part of the city.

Cintas Corp.'s Tom Mahoney says the company chose the area as a good geographic starting point to service customers. Other developments in the area include an upcoming medical and retail complex. The park will also get a new hotel. Click here and here for details.

Plans for the new plant were announced in November 2014. Click here for details.
