Cintas Recognizes Unitex International as a ‘Platinum Level’ Supplier

Despite a recent flood disaster, plus political and labor unrest in its manufacturing base in Pakistan, Unitex International Inc., Duluth, GA, recently announced that Cintas Corp. has honored the textile manufacturer with a “Platinum Level Quality Performance Supplier” award for fiscal year 2022, according to a news release.

“It’s a proud moment for Unitex International on achieving this award,” said Mohammad Mandhai, president of Unitex. “As professionals in this field, it is our dream to be recognized for the hard work that our whole team has accomplished. This award belongs to our entire team, including customer service, inventory management and manufacturing.” Mandhai added that in recent months the company’s facilities in Pakistan have faced major challenges, including flooding, energy shortages, strikes by transportation workers and political instability.

Nonetheless, the award certificate from Cintas commended Unitex, saying “Thank you for your dedication and effort in helping Cintas to exceed our customers’ expectations!” The certificate bore the signatures of three Cintas executives overseeing sourcing and logistics, manufacturing/engineering and quality assurance.

Mandhai added that Unitex operates under strict performance standards for all aspects of its operation. “When doing business with Unitex, we will never cut corners on quality,” he said. “We take pride in the quality of the product that we deliver to our customers. This award validates that our organization takes quality standards seriously.”

Unitex has operated in the greater Atlanta area since 1990. The company currently serves customers in 30 countries with products sourced from Pakistan, China, India and Vietnam.
