Cintas Selects Top Canadian Restroom

Cintas recently announced its annual winner for Canada’s Best Restroom Contest, the Shaw Club Hotel and Spa, in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Cintas praised the contemporary hotel for going "above and beyond to provide their customers with a one-of-a-kind experience," according to a local news report.

In addition to advanced technology, a glass infinity sink and feminine decor, the women’s restroom has a chic design and clear-to-clouded glass door technology, which fogs up for privacy when the door is locked.

"Each year we look for establishments who understand the importance of first impressions and the impact a clean and well-stocked restroom has on their business, and this year's winner clearly demonstrates this critical message," said Leslie Molin, Cintas senior marketing manager.

There were more than 100 nominations for best restroom and the finalists were selected based on cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements.

Rounding out the top five are, in order, Calgary Zoo, Calgary, Alberta; Vancouver Airport, Vancouver, BC; Patria, Toronto; and Planet Hollywood, Niagara Falls, Ontario.
