Jim Hennessy, a route service representative (RSR), has worked with customers in Iowa communities such as Waukon, Postville and Monona, since 1978. Now, after nearly 40 years with CITY Laundering Co., Oelwein, IA, Hennessy recently announced his retirement from the company.

“Thirty-seven years is a long time, and it is always hard saying good-bye to the people who you have worked with for that long, but it was just time for me to take on another adventure,” said Hennessy, who officially stepped down on Jan. 14.

Company President Colin Wetlaufer, a fourth-generation owner/operator of CITY Laundering, thanked Hennessy for his many years of dedicated service. “What Jim has done for this company is invaluable,” he said. “Jim has a tremendous relationship with his customers, and that is one of the reasons why CITY continues to excel in northeast Iowa. Jim’s attitude, work and commitment will never be forgotten at CITY.” Click here for details.
