Clean 2017 Attendance on the Rise
Turnout is up for both attendees and exhibitors at the 2017 Clean Show, which concludes today, according to figures released on June 7 by Chairwoman Mary Scalco of the Dry-Cleaning and Laundry Institute.
Scalco and other members of the Clean Show board of directors released the preliminary attendee data (based on the first two days of the June 5-8 show) during an 11 a.m. news conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The exhibit floor sold out with 227,006 net square feet of booth space, an increase over the 197,400 square feet sold at the 2015 Clean Show in Atlanta. This is the largest total floor space since Clean 2007 in Las Vegas.
Registrations for the show also were higher than two years ago. As of close of business on June 6, 12,374 people registered to attend the show, an increase from the total attendance two years ago in Atlanta. Clean 2015 drawn a total of 11,264 attendees.
The next Clean Show will return to New Orleans on June 20-23, 2019. The “Big Easy” also served the show’s host city in 2013. Clean will next head for a return engagement in Atlanta on June 10-13, 2021.
Clean Show sponsors, including TRSA, have yet to select a site for the 2023 Clean Show. However, potential host cities include Las Vegas, New Orleans and Orlando, FL.
