Roughly six weeks prior to TRSA’s March 22-23, 2023, Legislative Conference in Washington, DC, the association will stage the first of a series of State Legislative Conferences, starting with the Golden State this Feb. 1-2, 2023.

The conference will kick off from 3-5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, with a legislative briefing, followed by a cocktail reception for attendees. The agenda for statehouse visits will be finalized the following morning at breakfast, followed by visits with legislators at the state capitol in Sacramento.

The program will include welcoming remarks from TRSA’s Immediate Past Chair Noël Richardson, Shasta Linen Supply, Sacramento, and TRSA President & CEO Joseph Ricci. Attendees also will hear an update on California legislative issues, including a proposed microplastic-filtration requirement, from TRSA’s Vice President of Government Relations Kevin Schwalb and R.J. Cervantes, a lobbyist who works with TRSA on California legislative and regulatory issues. Click here for details.

In addition to TRSA’s California Legislative Conference, members of the industry can also attend the Western Textile Services Association’s (WTSA) Production Clinic, which is scheduled for Feb. 2-3, 2023.
