Continental Girbau Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Continental Girbau Inc., Oshkosh, WI, recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. The company was established in 1995 as the North American subsidiary of Girbau S.A. (Girbau), headquartered in Vic, Spain, and has grown significantly since its inception, according to a news release. 

President Mike Floyd shared his perspective on the company’s 20 years in business. “I remember the first day at Continental,” Floyd said. “There were just two of us then. I sat on the floor of a vacant office building and wondered what I’d gotten myself into. We’ve come a long way since then – thanks to a lot of support from our staff, distributors and business partners. We’ve worked hard as a team to ensure Continental’s success.”

As Continental looks to its future, its creative arm, Continental Creative Services, (CCS), also recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. An offshoot of the company’s original marketing department, it was established in 2005 to provide marketing and advertising support to Continental distributors, in order to help set them apart from their regional competitors. It now offers a multitude of services, according to Marketing and Communications Director Tari Martin, including design, printing, photography, signage, public relations, website development, social media marketing and advertising.
