Cusack to Keynote 13th Annual Legislative Conference in DC

Bob Cusack, editor in chief at The Hill, will keynote the 13th Annual Legislative Conference, scheduled for March 22-23, 2023, at The Westin City Center in Washington, DC. Cusack has been reporting on policy and politics in the nation’s capital since 1995.

Cusack joined The Hill as business and lobbying editor in 2003 and became the newspaper’s managing editor a year later. He became the editor in chief in 2014. Having won five awards from the National Press Club and the Society of Professional Journalists for investigative articles on a range of issues, including national security, healthcare and 2008 presidential politics surrounding Hurricane Katrina, Cusack will provide an insightful look into the pollical climate and upcoming elections.

TRSA will kick off its conference with a Supplier Partner Workshop on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 21. The following morning, TRSA committee members will gather in person to set committee goals and agendas for 2023. In addition to convening with fellow committee members to discuss key industry issues, attendees also will get the opportunity to prepare a unified message for legislators.

Following the keynote, attendees will work together to formulate strategy to convey the industry’s positions to policymakers during the scheduled Hill visits on March 23. The conference will wrap up with the recognition of exemplary efforts of employees and leaders of member companies with a cocktail reception and the Industry Awards Dinner. The 2022 awards include:
