Economy Linen Acquires Healthcare and Hospitality Laundry

Economy Linen and Towel Service Inc., Dayton, Ohio, recently reached an agreement to acquire selected assets of Midwest Laundry Inc., a healthcare and hospitality laundry located in Butler County, Ohio, near Cincinnati. With the acquisition, Economy Linen will provide laundry and linen services to all of Midwest Laundry’s customers, according to a news release.

A fourth-generation, family-owned company, Economy Linen is dedicated to providing outstanding services to medical and hospitality customers in Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky. Recently, Economy Linen opened an 80,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in Dayton to better meet the needs of its customers.

Established in 1931 in Dayton, Economy Linen serves hospitals, medical facilities, restaurants and hospitality businesses. The company employs approximately 300 staff members with locations in Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, Zanesville and Indianapolis.
