Economy Linen and Towel Service Inc. plans to invest in a new facility in West Dayton, OH, according to news reports.

The 78,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art laundry facility is expected to cost about $20 million and create roughly 70 new jobs. The plant will be built on vacant land at 2100 McCall St., according to a recent report in the Dayton Daily News.

“As we enter our 90th year in business, Economy Linen continues to make thoughtful investments to better serve our customers and community,” Bruce Feldman, president of Economy Linen, told the Daily News. “We are ready to grow, create new jobs and help Dayton recover and thrive in the post-pandemic world.”

Construction is expected to begin on the new facility this year, the report noted. The building is expected to open in the first quarter of 2022. To read the full article, click here.
