Ellis Names Robert Fesmire Jr. as President

Robert Fesmire Jr. of Ellis Corp., a manufacturer of laundry machinery, recently was named president of the company after working for nearly 20 years in various posts at the business based in Itasca, IL, according to a news release.

As part of the fifth generation of leadership of the family-owned company founded in 1898 by his great-great-grandfather Wynn Edward Ellis, Fesmire said he looks forward to building on the company’s strengths, “I want to carry on the successful traditions of our business, but also always challenge our people to be the best they can and to provide the best products and support possible to our customers,” Fesmire said. “My vision is that we build a world-class legacy business that will go on for another 100 years.”

Fesmire’s most recent position at Ellis was executive vice president and COO. In that post, he oversaw a significant growth in sales, as well as the acquisition of key personnel in the organization.
