Emerald Textiles Hires CFO

Emerald Textiles, a portfolio company of Los Angeles-based private-investment firm Pacific Avenue Capital Partners LLC, recently announced that Christopher Lake joined the company’s executive management team as its CFO, according to a news release.

“We are excited to add Christopher to the Emerald team,” said Andy Kratky, Emerald Textiles’ CEO. “Christopher compliments our strong performance-oriented culture and has extensive expertise in finance, operations and strategy, making him the ideal choice to drive Emerald’s continued growth and profitability.”

Prior to joining Emerald, Lake served as CFO for multiple private-equity-backed portfolio companies for more than 23 years, including Earthlite and Hocking International Laboratories. Before Hocking, he served as operating executive over several CFOs across multiple companies at The Riverside Co. Prior to Riverside, Lake served as CFO and general counsel at Brookside Equity Partners. In these roles, he was responsible for overseeing all financial, legal and accounting, including information technology and environment health and safety solutions activities.

Lake earned a juris doctor degree from Concord Law School. He received his executive masters in business administration from the University of Wisconsin and his masters of science in taxation from DePaul University.
