‘Everyday Hero’ Nominations Sought

Fashion Seal Healthcare®, a brand of Superior Uniform Group Inc.®, Seminole, FL, recently launched its “Everyday Hero" contest, in conjunction with the company’s new lab coat catalog. The catalog celebrates heroic efforts in healthcare. Nominations are open until Sept. 10 for healthcare employees who’ve made a big difference in someone’s life. Categories include, but are not limited to:

  • A nurse who provided above-and-beyond care
  • A housekeeping employee who made a patient’s room feel like home
  • A security officer who assisted someone in need
  • A volunteer who brightened a hospital stay
  • A colleague who inspired others 
     

If you’d like to submit an entry on behalf of a customer’s employee, simply complete the online form, writing in up to 250 words why your everyday hero is both special and deserving. The top three winners will be notified by Sept. 25. The grand prize is an iPad Mini, and two-second place winners will receive $100 Visa gift cards. The winning stories will be posted on the Fashion Seal Healthcare blog An Apple A Day.
